Practical Tips for Beijing Hospitals

Registration: most public hospitals require a hospital card (就诊卡). Bring your passport. Payment: cash, WeChat Pay, Alipay accepted. International hospitals also accept credit cards. Medical records: public hospitals do NOT maintain integrated records — bring everything from previous visits. Follow-up: ask the doctor to write the follow-up appointment before leaving.
